Some time ago, I discussed a topic that was an important part of my process of self-discovery. That topic was fan-made gender transformation videos. Now I have some for you.
If you’re building a marine aquarium and the thought of putting an octopus in it crosses your mind, consider not doing that. Consider not doing that so hard that you put this ill-conceived notion to permanent rest, no matter how much fun Finding Dory made it sound. An octopus makes for a difficult, finicky, and potentially even dangerous marine-aquarium inhabitant, best left to nature and specialists.
I got inspired last night after accidentally walking in on a great art sale and picking up some new canvas sizes. I spent all night painting, and even continued throughout the day. On a lark, I decided to record the process.
You can also find the painting on Etsy.
With apologies to Ke$ha, here is “Dick Dawk.”
One of my guilty pleasures is singing Christmas carols. I made a few videos and there may be more to come. I hope you enjoy.
Last night, I had the privilege of being part of an on-air hangout with Ed Brayton of Dispatches from the Culture Wars to discuss recent US Supreme Court rulings, in particular Burwell v. Hobby Lobby. This ruling came with a lot to unpack, a surprising amount of which was not overwhelmingly bad news for secularists and those interested in social equality for women.
