Not all disabilities are visible

EmpathizeThis is a blog that allows people to share their stories of suffering, prejudice, or hardship.  From their About page:

We are NOT trying to create a definitive account of what it’s like to be (insert minority here). Instead, we want to show how there are a variety of ways that people react to different prejudices and past experiences. We want to try to get people to think about the consequence of various societal and personal actions.

In effect, they’re hoping people will read these stories and empathize with those who are suffering.  Here is one such story, of a woman dealing with several disabilities, none of which are visible to others.

This comic is only a portion of the story. You can read the rest here.
