Happy Holidays Greta! Thank you for years of interesting and thoughtful reading!
Love the sentiment. Happy Tilt-Away day!
Earth’s axial tilt is currently 23.44 degrees and decreasing on its 41,000-year cycle. Should our holiday season be decreasing?
The guy who made that image had one of the best sites on the web for quite a while. Check the Brunching Shuttlecocks archive http://brunching.com/ for well-written humor.
Have a cool Yule.
Greta, G’day!
I’m from Brazil, currently living in Africa, working as a teacher.
You are a great thinker.
Please forgive me for my off-topic comment. I just wanted to let you know that a major poll on youth and family has been conducted recently in the country and we found out that there are more atheists than protestants amongst the 18-34 year olds.
In fact, atheists, agnostic and faith-but-no-religion combined make up 32.1% of Generation Y. Nearly 1 third!
Catholics 34,3%.
Atheists 19.3%
Protestants (mostly neo-pentecostals) 14,9%
Kardecists 14,9%
Faith, No religion 6,7%
Agnostics 6,2%
I love your posts. Happy Tilt-Away day!
Cheers,
