Send Us a Treat!

Hi Everyone!

The Social Justice Garden has a Patreon page, where our readers can make per-post contributions to  make it possible for us to create new content and support ourselves. Patrons get such perks as access to fiction or restricted posts. Eventually we will also be including an opt-in mailing list where you can receive special updates, early announcements, and so on.

If you are already one of our patrons, or are unable to make a longer term commitment, but still want to do something nice – or if you feel uncomfortable giving money and would rather give something specific, it would be lovely to receive something from our wish list. Some Items are tools to help improve the content we produce, some are things we need or want for our homes, and some are just little odds and ends that would make us happy.

Thank you so much!

For Ania:

Outside of writing, Ania is passionate about her cooking and her art: both music and physical. She is also working hard to get a fresh start after her “divorce” which includes making her apartment, her HOME.  She has been wanting to make videos and possibly a podcast, but she would need some equipment to really make that happen. Her wish lists include supplies that will help her expand her Etsy store and create more art, with writing her cookbook, with home improvement, with making a new start,  with the videocast, with general writing, and one of just general interest items.

    Hi Ania.
My name is Melissa. I am fairly poor and I loved your post about the Golden Dragon. You have some books in your wish list that honor that. I did discover that Amazon has all 4 books in one for Kindle. Enchanted Forest Chronicles that is. I also am big into books and because of your wish list I bought the first one. I wish I had known about the 4 before I bought the first one. Oh well… Let me know if the books are a good idea.
    Let me know

    Hey Alyssa
Sorry if I wasn’t clear. I read her post about the golden Dragon, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I went to your wish lists on Amazon and their I found that Ania wanted the Enchanted Forest Chronicles. They are listed individually. Dealing With Dragons etc. Amazon also has them for the Kindle all 4 books in one purchase. I would like to get them for her. They are really good! I bought myself the first one and read the whole thing last night. Stayed up to finish what I started. Something fun related to her hallucination. Payment for making me laugh. I wanted to make sure the complete set was good to get or if she wants them individually. The reason I said I am poor is because I am struggling financially so unfortunately I can’t get much and I think the Enchanted Forest Chronicles would be something fun.
    Thanks,
    Melissa

Oh wow, that is incredibly sweet thank you! If Kindle is offering a deal and you are comfortable spending that much then a set like that is perfectly fine. Thank you! I am so glad to hear my story made you laugh. That’s the reaction I was hoping for. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi Ania,
I need an email address to be able to send you Kindle (or whatever you use), books. Amazon said if for whatever reason you can’t get the books they will send you a gift card. They send you an e-mail notice letting you know you have a gift and then you enter a code to get the goods.

In your blog, I also laughed when you were spinning and saying “wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee”
One of my room mates has a really bad cough right now, but alas and alack I have no magic potion to give her….and if I did I’d probably take it myself. ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope you and Alyssa are doing well! I hope you enjoy your books!

    Hi Melissa,

My email is dearania (at) gmail dot com. Thank you so much for this, I am really excited.

Coughs are horrible! My sister’s nanny from when she was younger once made me drink some hot milk with garlic to try and get rid of one. It worked, but I can’t say for sure that it wasn’t because I was too scared to cough in case she made me drink it again. That said, hot tea with lemon helps make it less horrible at least. Good luck!

One of my friends once told me that an entire bulb of garlic mixed with orange juice would cure you of any that “ailed ya” I thought that sounded gross I can’t even imagine milk and garlic. I know warm milk and mustard is supposed to make you vomit which I discovered when I was teaching preschool and four kids ate mushrooms and I tried milk and mustard and ended up at the pharmacy for upscale. Not my best day at work. ๐Ÿ™‚

Let me know how you like the books. I really hope you enjoy them!
    Melissa
