The real difference between Christians and atheists

… can be found here.

You see, Christians believe in Yahweh, their god, and they disbelieve in a panoply of gods that have once been suggested throughout mankind’s history. Atheists merely also throw Yahweh onto the same list of “probably doesn’t exist”.

(At least some of the gods on that list have cool video games based on them — like Amaterasu, who figures as the main character in the Wii game Okami.)

You play Ōkami too? My wife played it quite a bit on the PS2. It’s one of those games that finds a niche audience when it comes out, then disappears (mostly), only to be hailed as a classic in later years. Ico was sort of like that too.

In truth, I haven’t gotten around to playing it yet. Jodi started playing it, but it started getting too RPG-like for her tastes, so she wanted me to play it instead while she watched, but I had started into Resident Evil 4 at about the same time. It’s on my to-play list though. As soon as I get around to finishing Majora’s Mask… :S

I still haven’t played Resident Evil 4. My wife got through it to a certain point (I think there’s one weapon she has yet to get), then got extremely frustrated with it.

I need to finish Bioshock, and I want to continue my third time through on the campaign mode of Resistance 2. There’s also my second time through on Dead Space. Let’s not forget Prototype, which I still need to finish. I’m getting a decent collection of trophies on the PlayStation Network.

While sports games are fun for a game or two, as soon as the commentary gets repetitive I get bored. In fact, I’d bet most of the fun of the game is the commentary for me. Before there was commentary at all, e.g. SNES, I couldn’t bring myself to play.

Bioshock was excellent, and I should probably play it again now that I have a decent machine to play it on. There’s two endings to it, too — one if you save all the Little Sisters, and one if you don’t. Pro tip: you can get more XP and Plasmids if you don’t, but you get the bad ending.

Ctulhu also figures into D&D (eats 1d4 PCs per turn, no saving throw!), however he’s not on that list for some reason. Maybe because everyone knows he’s real?

Oh, yes, they know….and fear the attention that they might draw.

    What’s that noise!!!!!

*aiyyeeee* (sound of something moist and wet striking a solid surface)

FIFA’s commentary is actually pretty good. I’ve been playing it for a couple months and it still occasionally says something new.
There’s something very funny about a distiguished-sounding British man saying, “And the comeback has begun… Not.”
