Hi! I'm a tech guy, skeptic, feminist, gamer and atheist, and love OSS and science of all stripes. I enjoy a good bit of whargarbl now and again, and will occasionally even seek it out. I am also apparently responsible for the death of common sense on the internet. My bad.
I have opinions. So do you. You want to share them with me. I would like to do likewise. Please don't expect a platform for proselytizing that will go unchecked and unchallenged, though. Contact me via the clicky thingies under my banner.
The commenting rules are simple: don't piss me off. This rule has worked for me for a decade; I have never found a need for any other rule, because any other rules leads to rules-lawyering. Just remember --
this is my property, not yours.
So….. What did you say…… And don’t make me run through the rest of the interwebs to find your reply….
Great work Jodi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now if only WordPress’s scheduler hadn’t let me down… But this is one of the coolest things I’ve seen online in… forever!
It’s all right, Dan. Your heart was there, if not your WordPress.

I promised I’d mow the lawn now, so I should go do that. Can’t start this off on the wrong foot. ๐
Damn! Cold eggos suck – even Star Trek ones…
Yes, mucho congratulations! My wife and I actually met online. IRC in the mid- to late 90’s was the place to be.
Next month will be our eleventh wedding anniversary, and we’re very happily married. I can only hope that Jodi and Jason will be every bit as happy together as my wife and I are. Our fondest congratulations and wishes for happiness to the both of you. ๐
Thanks guys!
Don’t worry Dan, you tried, and just agreeing to it in the first place was enough to make you a hero to me too! I’m so happy with the way this all played out, it was perfect ๐
How increadibly awesome is that! See, haters, teh Internet isn’t only for pr0n! Congrats and best wishes from an old married guy.
[…] through to the final post and yelped when I finally clued into what was going on, I immediately posted the following: Jodi wakes me up, where Iโve slept about two hours longer than her. โHey Jason, […]

Hi! Congratulations to you and Jodi. I am on the board of directors for CONvergence, and I heard through the geek-vine that you’re coming to the convention on your honeymoon. That’s great!
