My new book, Coming Out Atheist: How to Do It, How to Help Each Other, and Why, is at the printer! Yaaaaay! This is really and truly happening! I love this part, where the idea for a book is starting to take physical form.
We’re scheduled for an April 16 publication date. We’re on track for that — production on this book has gone eerily smoothly, with very few hiccups and no major ones. (If I were superstitious, I’d be nervous about saying that out loud and jinxing it — but I’m not, so I’m not.)
We’re planning on a simultaneous publication of the print, ebook, and audiobook editions. The ebook is being formatted as we speak, and audiobook recording is being scheduled now — I should start recording in about a week. Watch this space for further announcements.
And yes — we have a cover! Here it is, in all its glory:
Many thanks once again to the extraordinarily talented Casimir Fornalski for his excellent cover design. Woo hoo!

I adore the contrast to the cover of “Why are You Atheists So Angry?” Perfection.
When will it be available for pre-ordering?
Well done design, clean, recognizable and on message.
Will it be available in the UK? If so I would buy hard copy, if not I might settle for electronic. Although with “Why Are You Atheists So Angry?” I got my copy from American Atheists with free postage (I thought it must be a mistake until the day it arrived).
I like that you were able to get the same illustrator for the cover art, and I hope you are able to keep that trend for future books: it is nice to have it look like a set. And I have to say, I love the image of smashing down a closet door.
The paperback is available for pre-ordering: http://www.amazon.com/Coming-Out-Atheist-Help-Other/dp/1939578191/ref=sr_1_cc_2?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1392821819&sr=1-2-catcorr&keywords=coming+out+atheist/
Not sure when the Kindle version will be available for pre-order, but I would imagine soon.
Congrats on the upcoming book release! I love the cover. As meanderwithme said, I also like the contrast with the cover of your previous atheist book. Really looking forward to reading this, and will probably be getting the e-book.
Love the cover; it made me smile.
My, what big stompy boots you have.
