    Hey Greta.

    I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you. I discovered your blog because of this book, not the other way around, which I suspect is the more usual route. I stumbled upon it in the Kindle Store, and, intrigued, bought it, and started reading.

    I found that everything inside was made of win.

    Since then, I have delved into your blog and those of others, and discovered an entire world of atheist blogs that I never knew existed. This was a wonderful outlet for all of my thoughts on these subjects, since I generally have few opportunities to express them elsewhere.

    I wanted to thank you for both being my link into this ongoing conversation, as well as putting into words pretty much exactly how I feel on almost every aspect of religion and atheism.

    I plan on buying a print copy of your book when it’s out (possibly more than one), to lend to a few people I know and give them an eloquent, reasonable, and practical view of the way I see things.
    Particularly my sister, who is of the “Religion is false, but it’s good for people/society” type of non-theist.

    Anyway, I just wanted to let you know how much your book means to me, and how much I appreciate your voice in this marketplace of ideas.

    Just posted on another page – will buy the book and see what I think after that. I’m guessing it’s harder to be an atheist in US than UK. Here we just don’t feel the need to bother what churches say if we don’t subscribe to their stories. Surely atheist is the default setting for a human being?

    I finished reading this wonderful book a few weeks ago and am so thankful for it! At your instigation, I have started not one, but two blogs expressing a non-religionist worldview. The first, https://fullfrontalblissfulness.wordpress.com/ is developing into a non-theistic daily “devotional.” Just to show that just maybe there are other books than the Bible and other sources of inspiration other than god.     Greta, I enjoyed this book, however you stated that same sex marriage has never won in the polls. In 2012, here in seattle/wa state the general population voted to approve same sex marriage by a fairly decent margin.
