Wanna Help Me Pick on God?

Okay, everybody, help me decide: Which is the best photo for illustrating how wrong God is in Jeremiah 5:22?

Do you not fear me? says the Lord;
Do you not tremble before me?
I placed the sand as a boundary for the sea,
a perpetual barrier that it cannot pass;
though the waves toss, they cannot prevail,
though they roar, they cannot pass over it.

Does A, B, C, or D flip God the biggest middle finger?

Photo A shows a storm surge in daytime, breaking against a sea wall, with the waves piled up taller than a street sign. Photo B shows a storm wave breaking on cliffs behind a lighthouse: it must be well over 50 feet tall. Photo C shows a storm surge flood surrounding a bait and tackle store. Photo D shows a storm surge flooding the parking lot and trees fo a huge commercial building.

    C, I think – the big waves are nifty, but you don’t see the actual damage, and D is just quiet flooding. That small building in C looks like it’s being swept out to sea right now.

    C.

    “Curl” staked his livelihood on the sea not passing the barrier of the sand, and now he’s proper fucked.

    Pray that he has the proper insurance.

    Yeah, I’d go with C as well. I like B, but it almost looks like it’s running into an impassable barrier there, so maybe not.

    Even before seeing comments, I thought C was the best for this. Photos A and B are great photos, but suggest that the shore IS a barrier, possibly divine and agreeing with that verse. Photo D is possibly ambiguous, as it is barely possible that a dry roadway might exist and be protected coming in on a pier from the back left. Only photo C makes it clear that the sea had invaded where people had felt it wouldn’t go, in support of your point. So C is most fitting.
