In an interview in thedaily.com company spokesman Everett Deger and Zombie Survival Guide author Max Brooks admit that the bullets do have a few drawbacks:

“The truth of the matter is, bullets are false confidence and bullets are a finite resource,” he said of Hornady’s zombie bullets. “I prefer something that doesn’t need reloading.”

Brooks, who swears by the machete, said if you do opt for a gun, always aim for the head.

“You don’t shoot ’em in the heart, it doesn’t work — it’s like they’re from Wall Street.”
