Cross-Country Connections: Mug

Cross-Country Connections is a Biodork (mostly) weekly blog entry dedicated to telling stories in pictures of three family members – me, my sister and Mom – living in different locations across the country. Every week we choose a different theme and then take or contribute a personal photo that fits the theme. This week’s theme is Mug.

From Mom in Hagerstown, Maryland:

A white frosted mug with the words "Butterbeer" scrolled across the side facing us.

From Harry Potter World at Universal last year.

From me in Minneapolis, Minnesota:

A purple mug with text that says "Heal the World..." and an image of a green heart in a blue/black speckled circle that is bordered with a yellow/orange speckled ring. To each side of the mug sit two small jars of spices, one marked "Chinese Five Spice Powder" and "Brady Street Cheese Sprinkle."

Penzey’s Spices was handing out free “Heal the World” mugs to members of their mailing list. I’ve mentioned that I’ve recently become a fan of Penzey’s. We went on a lovely bike ride to their Uptown store this weekend and found a few new spices to try out.

From Erin in Rockville, Maryland:

An outdoor scene. In the foreground an orange pile of knitting and a red mug sit on a wood table. In the background green lawn, trees and bushes frame the border of the yard.

A beautiful spring morning drinking coffee and knitting.

Nice to meet up with you, my title is Brendan but I don’t like when persons use my entire identify. Jogging is the factor I love most. Supervising is where his primary income arrives from but he programs on altering it. Years back we moved to Louisiana.
