Cross-Country Connections: Purple

Cross-Country Connections is a Biodork (mostly) weekly blog entry dedicated to telling stories in pictures of three family members – me, my sister and Mom – living in different locations across the country. Every week we choose a different theme and then take or contribute a personal photo that fits the theme. This week’s theme is Purple.

From Erin in Rockville, Maryland:

Close-up of a purple-blue fine knit fabric stretched onto a blocking board with pins.

The latest knitting design, fresh off the needles.

From Mom in Hagerstown, Maryland:

Close up photo of a deep purple pansy.

Planting tomorrow.

From me in Minneapolis, Minnesota:

In the foreground a mosaic-tiled piller. Bikes locked at a rack and the automatic doors of the co-op are in the background. Far on the right side of the photo, another mosaic-tiled pillar is seen.

Purple eggplant tile mosaic outside of the Seward Co-Op in southeast Minneapolis.
