Cross-Country Connections: Holder

Cross-Country Connections is a Biodork weekly blog entry dedicated to telling stories in pictures of three family members – me, my sister and Mom – living in different locations across the country. Every week we choose a different theme and then take or contribute a personal photo that fits the theme. This week’s theme is Holder.

From me in Saint Louis Park, Minnesota:

POV is from the middle of a one-way street (either a pedestrian crossing the street, or a passenger in a car). Moderately heavy traffic and in the upper third of the photo is a glass and metal enclosed skyway between two buildings.

A people and warm holder. One of the many inter-building skyways in the Twin Cities. This one is in Saint Paul.

From Erin in Rockville, Maryland:

A black a dog sits on a partially-finished puzzle and puzzle pieces.

“Hey Mom – I will help hold these puzzle pieces down so you don’t lose them.”

From Mom in Hagertown, Maryland:

The majority of the frame is taken up by a pink pencil holder, filled with number two pencils. Tweety bird decorates the front of the pencil holder. A Minion (from Despicable Me) is seen in the background, and other desk clutter fills the shot.
