Cross-Country Connections: Numbers

Cross-Country Connections is a Biodork weekly blog entry dedicated to telling stories in pictures of three family members – me, my sister and Mom – living in different locations across the country. Every week we choose a different theme and then take or contribute a personal photo that fits the theme. This week’s theme is Numbers.

From Erin in Rockville, Maryland:

POV is from the ground looking up at a rock climber perched on a pink wall, about halfway between the ground and top.

Climbing routes are ranked using a number system starting at 5.1. This here is Ralph climbing a 5.6, not too tough but a good workout.

From Mom in Hagerstown, Maryland:

A box with three different shipping labels, showing various alphanumeric codes and five different bar and QR codes.

Numbers numbers everywhere. It is impossible to escape all the numbers.

From me in Saint Louis Park, Minnesota:

A closeup of a clock taken nearly parallel to the clock face.

I keep meaning to fix this clock, but it’s just so far to the battery drawer upstairs. #firstworldproblems
