Cross-Country Connections: Flat

Cross-Country Connections is a Biodork weekly blog entry dedicated to telling stories in pictures of three family members – me, my sister and Mom – living in different locations across the country. Every week we choose a different theme and then take or contribute a personal photo that fits the theme. This week’s theme is Flat.

From me in Saint Louis Park, Minnesota:

A bag of pork jerky. The bag is purple and black, some text on the bag: "Krave Pork Jerky" and "Black Cherry Barbecue"

Flat meat. Tasty, tasty flat meat.

From Erin in Rockville, Maryland:

A gray cable knit sweater lays flat on foam boards and is pinned to them with sewing pins

Blocking my latest knitting project involves soaking the sweater then laying it out to its correct dimensions.

From Mom in Hagerstown, Maryland:

Freshly poured batter bubbles on a black cast iron griddle.

Because I got nothin’ But at least I got breakfasts.
