Cross-Country Connections: Colorful

Cross-Country Connections is a Biodork weekly blog entry dedicated to telling stories in pictures of three family members – me, my sister and Mom – living in different locations across the country. Every week we choose a different theme and then take or contribute a personal photo that fits the theme. This week’s theme is Colorful.

From Mom in Hagerstown, Maryland:

A green wheelbarrow full of flowers and squash, situated on black mulch by a brick pathway

My fall decorations

From me, on vacation in Florida:

A number of large, bubble-shaped, colorful building recreated from the drawings of Dr. Seuss books

Seuss Landing, Universal Studios Orlando – Like a unicorn exploded in the park.

From Erin in Rockville, Maryland:

Red tomatoes, purple onions, Yellow squash, white beans, green acorn squash, orange carrots, red peppers and more in a wicker basket.

The first place vegetable display at the Montgomery County Fair. August 2014. It’s no Minnesota State Fair but still full of heart-clogging goodies and kitschy displays (I’m looking at you Home Arts tent).
