Phew – I made it through the phone blogging phase of the morning! I’m glad that’s over. I didn’t like it. Small keypad.

I’m getting a little hungry and tired. I need to find food and get my first second wind of the day.

I have another donor challenge!

Erin donated $10 and is having me travel to a store called Stevenbe. Never heard of it. According to the interwebs it appears to be a yarn store. She requests that I find the most interesting or weirdest or most surprising product in the shop and post a photo of that product.

Now we’re having an adventure!

Send me to more places in Minneapolis! For $10 (which goes to support an AWESOME student support organization!) I will scramble to get to ANYPLACE in the city limits. Have you ever wanted to see the Mississippi River? How about the new 35W bridge that replaced the one that collapsed in 2007? The Guthrie Theater? The University of Minnesota? Uptown? The Foshay Tower? The old Riverview Theater from the 1950s? Send me your donation receipt and I’ll start hoofing it over there.

    In Golden Valley, if you are traveling out that far, I want you to meet Linda at My Music Store. There is a bike path that goes from the Twins Stadium along Hwy 55. The store is at 55 & Winnetka. She’s on of the owners. The store is only open until 6pm today. Go discuss the animal humane society, urban wildlife and anything else. I think you will find you have many passions in common.

    She’s a really neat person that I think you will enjoy meeting. I teach at that store and consider her to be one of my dearest friends. I’m going to leave an envelope with her with some cash for you to find supper tonight.
