This image comes courtesy of Tessa Murphy. I’ve plugged Tessa before for her business, which used to be called Howling Pig. While I loved the name, the business is now Tessa Essentials and more accurately advertises what she does, which is make lovely scented soaps, lotions, and balms. Tessa is taking a Photoshop class and decided to make this charmer. He’s free for anyone to use. Just credit Tessa and give a link to her shop.
Now would also be a great time for anyone to consider starting their holiday shopping early, if that’s your thing. Tessa’s stuff makes great gifts, and she could use the income.
Stephanie Zvan is one of the hosts for the Minnesota Atheists' radio show and podcast, Atheists Talk. She serves on the board of Secular Woman. She speaks on science and skepticism in a number of venues, including science fiction and fantasy conventions.
Stephanie has been called a science blogger and a sex blogger, but if it means she has to choose just one thing to be or blog about, she's decided she's never going to grow up. In addition to science and sex and the science of sex, you'll find quite a bit of politics here, some economics, a regular short fiction feature, and the occasional bit of concentrated weird.
Oh, and arguments. She sometimes indulges in those as well. But I'm sure everything will be just fine. Nothing to worry about. Nothing at all.
Scott, in the years I’ve known you as a commenter, you’ve been exceptionally good at getting things wrong in a belligerent manner. You continue that here.
why, Yes it is a Rackham!! and if it’s public domain, all is fair (no, I haven’t checked myself,. a few of my own irons in disparate fires at the moment…..) Cute remix, too. Sounds like she has a great sense of humor. Heck ya, support the artists!!
photoshop classes tend to emphasize the ‘public domain’ and ‘copyright infringement’ turf pretty strongly, at least, mine did. just my Two cents, take it or leave it π
Tessa has a hilarious comment on her site: “smelling good is the best revenge”. Love it!
Can you post a link to a homeopathy site where we can get some unessential oils? π
“…taking a Photoshop class and decided to make this charmer. Heβs free for anyone to use. Just credit Tessa…”
No, don’t … it’s not her drawing. It’s Arthur Rackham’s drawing of Alberich, one of a series of his illustrations to Wagner’s Ring.
See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Ring11.jpg .
…and Arthur Rackham, of course.
Scott, take a cue from Orion. The fact that it’s a remix is no reason to withhold credit from the person who did the remix.
Rumpelstilzchen! π
Remix? Nonsense … she’s just lifted it out of context.
