It’s May, which means it’s margarita time again. I’m finishing off the first batch of spring. Kelly‘s included them in the final WebMage book (sorry, not for general readership until May 2010). Scribbler is prescribing. Greg keeps mentioning them. They’re everywhere, so it hardly seems fair to keep them to myself.
So, if you want your Perfect Margaritas, here‘s the place to go. Just promise me you’ll be careful with them. Please.
Stephanie Zvan is one of the hosts for the Minnesota Atheists' radio show and podcast, Atheists Talk. She serves on the board of Secular Woman. She speaks on science and skepticism in a number of venues, including science fiction and fantasy conventions.
Stephanie has been called a science blogger and a sex blogger, but if it means she has to choose just one thing to be or blog about, she's decided she's never going to grow up. In addition to science and sex and the science of sex, you'll find quite a bit of politics here, some economics, a regular short fiction feature, and the occasional bit of concentrated weird.
Oh, and arguments. She sometimes indulges in those as well. But I'm sure everything will be just fine. Nothing to worry about. Nothing at all.
Oops, I commented on the other post my mistake. I think I’ll have to try them even if I might not like them! I’m sure Jason will drink it if I don’t like it.
Excellent touch with the Grand Marnier… if I had the time to put a pitcher like yours together (or several of them actually) there’d be a line outside my bar on a hot day. ‘Tis the season indeed, Stephanie, well done.
pixelsnake, if you’re not much of a drinker, definitely go the crushed ice route. The risk lies not in not liking them, but in liking them too much. Of course, sounds like Jason’s a pro, so he should be able to take care of you. :)Scribbler, thank you. Coming from you, that’s very high praise indeed.
Well I’m no Hitchens, but I get by. :)I intend to try this out the next social gathering we host (or possibly attend, whichever comes first), and will definitely let you know the results.
If by “careful with them” you mean “avoid spilling any”, no worries!

I want one right now. But, only if you’re making it.
Mme., I’m entirely out right now. Which I need to fix. I think I also need to have a few people over for them. It was a great ice breaker last year.
