FTB has the honor of welcoming Eric MacDonald of Choice in Dying as our newest member. Eric works to defend that most personal of end-of-life decisions: the decision to die. His story is heartbreaking and a must-read. Let’s all give him a warm welcome.
My work focuses on insights to be found across transgender sociology, public health, psychiatry, history of medicine, cognitive science, the social processes of science, transgender feminism, and human rights, taking an analytic approach that intersects these many perspectives and is guided by the lived experiences of transgender people. I live in Orlando with my family, and work mainly in technical writing.

Yay!
I’ve been following Eric off and on since I was made aware of his blog by Jerry Coyne of the blog website Why Evolution is True.
I love his thinking, his writing and his extensive knowledge of philosophy and theology (read: the works of people who have written about theology).
Great addition!
I would like to thnkx for the efforts you have put in writing this site. I am hoping the same high-grade site post from you in the upcoming also. Actually your creative writing abilities has inspired me to get my own site now. Actually the blogging is spreading its wings quickly. Your write up is a good example of it.
