FFRF vs Creepy Pastor in Florida

It’s more than a little disturbing to me that this pastor is visiting an elementary school grounds on a weekly basis to lead the wee little kiddies in prayer.

Forget the separation of church and state for a moment — what non-scholastic adult visiting an elementary school on a weekly basis shouldn’t get visited by local cops?

I can’t tell for sure from the report (which seems a bit biased), but it sounds like it is happening before school hours, and is led by a local minister, not by a member of staff. I’m pretty sure that is allowed, unfortunately. The line about allowing prayer on school grounds is a red herring. Of course it’s allowed! It just is can’t be officially sanctioned or led.

Presumably you’re excluding parents. If not, the police are going to be awfully busy
