Antivax is bullshit

Penn and Teller show, in simple terms, exactly why.

Even granting for the sake of argument alone that the vaccines will “knock out” a person as autistic (which can’t happen) or will have other deleterious effects by some other happenstance, it’s far better to lose a very few, rather than a very large, number of people. Isn’t it?

So completely true!!! As the mother of two children with autism, I am appalled by people who are still misguided and willfully ignorant enough to believe that vaccinations cause autism. And am even more appalled that people refuse to vaccinate their children out of fear of autism. DUMB ASSES.
People with autism are freaking AWESOME. My kids wouldn’t be who they are if they didn’t have autism. It’s part of them. They are vibrant, funny, loving, intelligent people.
And they have autism because it’s GENETIC. They don’t have polio because they got VAXED.
    I love this video.

I love the part later in the episode where they point out that the rate of diagnois for autism started going up when they changed the defination of autism.
