Hi! I'm a tech guy, skeptic, feminist, gamer and atheist, and love OSS and science of all stripes. I enjoy a good bit of whargarbl now and again, and will occasionally even seek it out. I am also apparently responsible for the death of common sense on the internet. My bad.
I have opinions. So do you. You want to share them with me. I would like to do likewise. Please don't expect a platform for proselytizing that will go unchecked and unchallenged, though. Contact me via the clicky thingies under my banner.
The commenting rules are simple: don't piss me off. This rule has worked for me for a decade; I have never found a need for any other rule, because any other rules leads to rules-lawyering. Just remember --
this is my property, not yours.
Cool! My husband worked on this movie (he’s a carpenter) and says the sets looked amazing. This is the first preview I’ve seen and it looks like it might just about be worth all the 12 hours a day, 7 days a week work schedules my husband endured…
Oh man. That means that by posting here, you’ve put me three degrees away from Jeff Bridges. Too awesome. I’m geeking out just a bit here.
Hey, high-five your husband when you get the chance. Those sets in that clip are stunning.
(“Hey honey, high-five!” *clap* “Okay, what was that for?” “Some guy on the internet told me to.” “Oh, I see.”)
Is there a release date for this?
Only thing official as of right now, is 2010. I’d guess by summer, though I don’t know how far along it is in production. Maybe Cath might know more (nudge nudge)?
Ah hell… I just realized I missed out on a great pun for my title. “Tron 2: In Like Flynn”.
I’m sorry, I’ve no idea. Principal photography finished a couple of weeks ago (at least, that’s when the wrap party was!), but the time needed for post production varies hugely depending on the extent and type of special effects they’re using. I’d imagine that this one will take longer than the average 😉
