What Rodney Nelson said. Also: Don’t worry about blogging, or not-blogging. That’s the least of your concerns right now. Take your meds, heal up, cuddle with the kitties, and only after all that is done, come back and tell us about it.

Very glad to hear it went well, Greta.

Loved the post, BTW – I have friends and colleagues who think I could learn a few things from you about being succinct. 😉

Take care and have a speedy recovery.

Great news! I keep wondering if you’ve had the davinci assisted procedure. I got a hysterectomy due to massive fibroids in July and it was davinci assisted. *keeping you in my thoughts*

Happy to hear it went well. Amazing that years ago this procedure would have kept you in the hospital for a week or more. Now, you’re home in your own bed healing same day.

Yaaaayyyyy for surgery done, and well done! Here’s wishing you good drugs, kitteh cuddles as and when appropriate, peace and quiet and lots of tlc, all of which will help towards a fine recovery. All the best to you both.

    Congratulations on a good surgery.

Take the drugs as prescribed, their really are reasons not to play tough until you can’t stand it and then eat’em like popcorn.

Love to you, Ingrid and mogs.

Nice drugs? I think if they’re going to cut you open, the least they can do is provide you with some nice drugs.

    Anyway, I’m glad you’re alive.

As someone who has had more than my share of major surgery, I have advice. You have been through a trauma. Rest, BUT get up and walk. Short distances, just around the house at first, many times a day. And be sure to stand up straight no matter how much your body wants to curve protectivly around the wound. Trust me. It makes a huge difference in recovery time.

I know Ingrid will take good care of you. We’ll be waiting here when you feel like talking to us again.

and revel in the fact that your cats are (for the only time in their life) earning their keep
