Cross-Country Connections is a Biodork weekly blog entry dedicated to telling stories in pictures of three family members – me, my sister and Mom – living in very different locations across the country. Every week we choose a different theme and then take or contribute a personal photo that fits the theme. This week’s theme is Drink.

This is one of the first photos I took with my DSLR at the beginning of 2011, and it’s still one of my favorite drink photos that I’ve ever taken.

      Yeah, the spam around this place has been a little crazy lately. We’re trying to keep up! The blue drink is actually clear – there was a blacklight in the vicinity, if I remember correctly.

    I was under the impression that the Archer was an English pub, due to the fried food that they serve there. A more authentic Irish pub is Uisce’s,

    although, sometimes they have bagpipes in lieu of live music. But a good place for scotch and whiskey, if that’s your thing. The nice thing about the Archer is that college kids don’t know about it. Cool story, I know, right?
